ABOUT ME
Though I’m no longer in the classroom every day, I will always be a teacher at heart. I was an elementary school teacher (TK-2nd grade) and instructional coach for more than a decade in the Los Angeles area. As a district-based Common Core Literacy Facilitator, I also coached hundreds of teachers and led the planning of literacy curriculum and professional development across 19 schools working closely with principals and directors.
As my family grew, I wanted flexibility with my schedule to spend more time with my son, Reece, and daughter, Saydee, to develop the same foundational skills that I've been applying and teaching to my students. After branching out on my own and creating ABC Consulting Company, I've been able to work closely with multiple schools and school districts allowing me to have the ability to develop real relationships with teachers and administrators continuing the work year after year. I sincerely feel that relationships are the key to building strong professional learning committees where teachers trust and respect the authenticity I bring to the table.
